Pre-convention meetings

The conference programme at PLDC provides many impulses for discussion and debate that often continue after the speakers’ presentations. Some topics and focus groups require additional time, which will be catered for in the form of pre-convention meetings preceding the opening reception in the evening.

For PLDC 2017 in Paris, the Cities Forum was staged in cooperation with the City of Paris, represented by the Mayor of Paris, EVESA and the Fraunhofer Institute, and took place at the Palais des Congrés, 1. November, 2017, 9.45-17.45. Read the report here.

PLDC Paris also hosted an Educators’ meeting, which offered educators the opportunity to share ideas about their work and the development of the Educators’ network.

Following the highly informative and productive Early Career Researchers’ meeting in Wismar, PLDC invited interested pre-docs and post-docs to share experiences.

Pre-convention meetings for Singapore will be confirmed soon.
