The Palais des Congrès de Paris is a leading venue for conferences, trade shows, corporate events and shows. Combining architectural innovation, international fame, a strategic location with easy access and a large hotel capacity, this venue has the advantages of one of the world’s largest convention centres.
The venue, which comprises approximately 32,000m² of floor space, was built by French architect Guillaume Gillet and inaugurated in 1974. Past events at the Palais des Congrès include the César Awards, the Eurovision Song Contest 1978, and the presentation of the Tour de France.
The PLDC 2017 conference, exhibition and other activities will take place on level 2 of the building.
Hall Maillot will offer around 5,000 m² for the sponsors’ exhibition, partners’ area, activity and interaction areas, the PLD community lounge, the registration desk and the VIA stand. One of the conference rooms is also located in this area. Two corridors, plus another conference room, lead to the largest conference room on the floor, the Amphithéatre Bleu, in which all Keynote speeches and one conference track will take place.
The building is located at the far end of the Champs-Élysées, near the Périphérique, and can be accessed via the main traffic routes. The venue has its own metro station, guaranteeing easy access for attendees who are not staying in accommodation nearby.
